TimeToPic is R&D tool. We don't know how you are planning to use it so decided to keep it simple for now.

Install - zip package

  1. Unzip application to directory you want. 
  2. Add shortcut to TimeTocPic.exe application.

Note! if you are planning to use TimeToPic via command line (automatic analysis picture generation for example), add tool location to your system path.

Install - Windows installer

  1. Download installer
  2. Run installer

Note! if you are planning to use TimeToPic via command line (automatic analysis picture generation for example), add tool location to your system path.

Install - Linux Ubuntu version

  1. Unzip application to directory you want. 
  2. Give execution permission to application.

Note! if you are planning to use TimeToPic via command line (automatic analysis picture generation for example), add tool location to your system path.

Zip Uninstall - both

  1. Wipe out application directory. TimeToPic keeps ini-file in <exe dir>/config so deleting will be complete.

Windows installer uninstall

  1. Remove application by using Windows add program and features. 

Notes about application start up


When TimeToPic starts, it will open socket and start listening remote API commands. TimeToPic does not send any usability data or such. Remote API is interface to control TimeToPic from another application. 

When TimeToPic logger starts, it will start listening specified TCP ports for incoming log connections.
